CZ Shadow 2 Compact: combination of precision and compactness

The CZ Shadow 2 Compact inherits the excellent design, construction and features from its successor, the CZ Shadow 2. It combines ergonomic grips with grip textures to ensure comfortable handling, accuracy and stability when shooting.These features have earned these pistols numerous world titles in the IPSC PRODUCTION and PRODUCTION OPTICS divisions. With a compact frame, the CZ Shadow 2 Compact is easy to handle and conceal, making it attractive for casual carry.

The dimensions of the CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT are 191 (L) × 35 (W) × 138 (H) mm. The lightweight and strong frame made of forged 7075 aluminum alloy contributes significantly to the weight reduction to 870 g.
The trigger mechanism features extremely smooth pull (in single action 3.4 pounds, in double action 10.3 pounds) and shortened reset. The combination of these features makes it possible to achieve accurate shots even with very fast follow-up shots. With a barrel length of 4-inch (102 mm), the CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT can be glided quickly from the holster and maintain impressive ballistic performance. The magazine can hold 15 rounds of 9×19 caliber ammunition and one additional round can be carried in the barrel chamber.

Racking the slide of the CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT from various positions is easy and instinctive, all thanks to deep cut front and rear cocking serrations. The rear of the slide is equipped with an extremely low and durable mounting interface for red dot sight. This interface is identical to the CZ SHADOW 2 OR and uses the same mounting plates. Shooters who prefer standard sights will appreciate its high-visibility fiber optic front sight for aiming, which is perfectly visible in all light conditions, and the height-adjustable rear sight, which is great for precision.

Low-profile ambidextrous manual safety and reduced height magazine release button (can be swapped from side-to-side) ensure that both right- and left-hand dominant shooters will enjoy the same comfort of operation.
The new compact shares a number of other proven features with the standard-size CZ SHADOW 2 series pistols, such as spacious trigger guard, a rough grip surface and an interface for mounting a light or other accessories on the lower front of the frame.
